The H Dubai, hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The H Dubai is a hotel in Dubai composed of two connected towers, one for guests and one for offices, with the hotel tower reaching 34 floors and spanning over 140 meters (460 feet) in height. The property offers numerous rooms, suites, and apartments, including the Royal Penthouse Suite which covers more than 1,000 square meters (10,700 square feet) across two levels with panoramic city views.
Construction of the building started in 2004 and took approximately three years, designed by architect Enzo Messina with the goal of connecting different parts of Dubai. The hotel opened in 2007 under the name Monarch and was rebranded as The H Dubai in 2012, with management transitioning to a UAE-based company called STORY Hospitality from 2019 onwards.
The building blends contemporary design with Arabic architectural touches, reflecting Dubai's approach to combining heritage with modern development. The open lobby with glass elements, palm trees, and a water feature creates a welcoming space that serves both business travelers and leisure guests.
The hotel sits on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Dubai International Financial Centre and World Trade Centre, making it convenient for accessing business districts. The central location allows easy reach to major shopping centers and city attractions, with the airport also within accessible distance.
The building features a distinctive H-shaped design with two towers connected by a Sky Suite on the 29th floor, making it architecturally unusual. The marble used throughout features fossils dating back 180 million years, giving the property a remarkable geological character.
