Belas

Belas is an administrative municipality in Luanda Province that covers a large area and contains six communes, including Camama and Ramiros. The administrative center is located in the Quilamba neighborhood.

Belas was established as an independent administrative municipality through a parliamentary decision in 2011. This step was part of a larger administrative reorganization of Luanda Province.

The neighborhoods of Belas show how Angola has grown over time, with older residential areas standing alongside newer administrative buildings. This mix gives visitors a sense of the city's different periods of development.

The administrative center of Belas is the main point for official matters and is located in an easily accessible urban area. Visitors should expect varying traffic conditions and allow extra time for navigation.
