Torre Telefónica Chile

Torre Telefónica Chile is a 143-meter-tall skyscraper with a steel frame and glass facade, featuring a distinctive overhang positioned two-thirds up the structure. The 34 floors of office space are served by eight high-speed elevators.

Construction began in 1993 and finished in 1996, supported by a 75 million dollar investment from the Chilean telecommunications company. The project emerged during a period of rapid infrastructure modernization in the country.

The design reflects 1990s mobile phone aesthetics, with an antenna structure at the top that echoes the cellular devices of that era. These details remind visitors of the building's connection to telecommunications innovation.
