Edificios Turri

Edificios Turri consists of three eight-story buildings situated along Avenida Providencia between two major intersections in Santiago. The structures display Art Deco style and combine residential space with retail areas on the ground floor.

An architect designed these residential buildings in the 1920s with financing from a mortgage bank, funded by a local businessman. The complex marks an early turning point in the city's high-rise construction.

The central building houses a theater that was originally built as a cinema with large seating capacity and remains an important cultural venue today. This theater shapes the public character of the complex and serves as a gathering point for cultural activities in the neighborhood.

The ground floor retail areas offer direct access to a nearby metro station, making it easy for visitors to travel around the city. It is best to visit during daytime to see the architectural details and the theater.
