Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Colonial religious building in Ischilín Department, Argentina.
The stone and limestone church features buttresses, brick reliefs, and a barrel vault extending outward to form a protective portico entrance.
Construction of the church began in 1706 on land given by the López de Ayala brothers, with contributions from Francisco de las Casas y Zevallos and local residents.
The interior houses indigenous-influenced craftsmanship, including a carved pulpit decorated with two-headed eagles and lions in Indo-American style.
The church stands 129 kilometers from Córdoba city and 59 kilometers from National Route 9, within the settlement of Ischilín.
The religious structure shares its space with a four-century-old carob tree next to a large plaza on its left side.
