Palácio da Mogiana, Historical palace in central Campinas, Brazil
The palace extends across three streets: Rua Visconde do Rio Branco, Avenida Campos Sales, and Rua General Osório, occupying half a city block.
Built between 1891 and 1910, the palace served as headquarters for the Mogiana Railroad Company until 1926, when operations moved to São Paulo.
The building reflects the architectural evolution of Campinas through its eclectic design, which combines multiple structural and decorative elements.
The palace underwent extensive restoration work in 2009, involving cooperation between public authorities and private sector initiatives to preserve the structure.
One wing of the palace was removed in 1953 to accommodate the widening of Avenida Campos Sales, altering its original symmetrical layout.
