Estádio Cerecamp

Estádio Cerecamp is a sports facility in Campinas with a grass playing surface and concrete seating that accommodates roughly 4,000 spectators. The venue includes electric lighting systems that allow matches to be played in the evening hours.

The stadium opened on July 9, 1940, with a match between two local teams. It became the main venue for football in Campinas throughout the following decades.

During the 1940s and 1950s, this stadium stood as the only venue in Campinas equipped with floodlights, hosting numerous matches between local teams Guarani and Ponte Preta.

The venue is relatively compact and easy to navigate, so visitors can reach all sections without difficulty. It is advisable to check event schedules in advance and arrive early for good viewing positions.

The structure was built using surplus materials from the Mogiana Railway, connecting it to the region's transport history. This reuse of railway materials makes the stadium a unique reflection of local resourcefulness.
