Kajiado County

Kajiado County is an administrative region in southern Kenya featuring expansive plains, volcanic hills, and varied vegetation across its landscape. Mount Kilimanjaro appears in the distance from many vantage points, shaping the visual character of the area.

The region formed in 2010 as a distinct county through Kenya's constitutional reorganization, separating from the former Rift Valley Province. This restructuring established it as one of the nation's 47 counties.
