Lebong

Lebong is an administrative regency in Bengkulu province located along the eastern slopes of the Barisan Mountains. The region consists of twelve districts that contain both rural villages and urban settlements spread across its territory.

The regency was established as an independent administrative territory in 2003 when it separated from Rejang Lebong. This division reshaped the provincial structure of Bengkulu.

The regional motto 'Swarang Patang Stumang' reflects the local commitment to community unity through the principle of staying together.
