Condong Catur, Administrative village in Depok, Indonesia
Condong Catur is an administrative village in Depok that covers approximately 950 hectares at an elevation of 163 meters. The area is divided into 18 sub-villages that together organize 64 community units across its neighborhoods.
The village was formed in 1946 when four separate communities named Manukan, Gejayan, Gorongan, and Kentungan merged through a government decree. This consolidation established the foundation for the area's present administrative structure.
The village population of 38,372 residents includes students from various Indonesian provinces who attend nearby universities such as UGM, UPN, UII, and Amikom.
The village administration office is located on Anggajaya II Street in Gejayan district and coordinates matters across the various sub-divisions. This is where to find administrative offices and information about local affairs.
A northern ring road runs through the area and contributes to its role as a transportation hub. This road network enables economic connections between surrounding areas in Sleman regency.
