Grha Sabha Pramana

The Grha Sabha Pramana stands as a primary auditorium at Universitas Gadjah Mada, with a floor space of 11,069 square meters and capacity for 5,000 attendees.

Construction of the auditorium began in 1993 following a World Bank loan covering 75 percent of the total costs, estimated at 9.069 billion Indonesian rupiah.

The building design incorporates traditional Javanese architecture with its trapezoidal roof structure and interior wooden pillars featuring regional carving patterns.

The facility contains two main levels, with smaller meeting spaces on the ground floor and a large central auditorium above, accessed through multiple entrances.

The second floor auditorium demonstrates advanced engineering through its column-free central area, while maintaining traditional Joglo architectural elements throughout the structure.
