Kiandra Courthouse, Heritage courthouse in Kosciuszko National Park, Australia.
The stone building consists of the courthouse section, police quarters, and living spaces along the Snowy Mountains Highway in New South Wales.
The courthouse and gaol were established during the 1859 gold rush period, serving the legal needs of the growing mining community.
The structure represents the architectural work of James Barnet, a notable New South Wales Colonial Architect from the late nineteenth century.
The building underwent restoration of its courtroom section in 2010 after previous removal of deteriorated additions to return it to its original state.
A mature Western Yellow pine stands at the front of the courthouse, marking its presence on the flat road landscape.
