Mount Franklin

Mount Franklin is a mountain summit in the Brindabella Range, situated on the border between Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales. The peak sits within the Bimberi Nature Reserve and Namadgi National Park, forming a distinctive landmark in this highland landscape.

The mountain takes its name from the Franklin family, connected to author Miles Franklin who lived at nearby Brindabella Station in the early twentieth century. This local connection remains part of the place's identity and heritage.
