Stromlo

Stromlo is a district in the Australian Capital Territory that spreads across mountainous terrain with natural waterways running through it. The area contains cycling facilities, bike rental services, and a network of trails for different outdoor activities.

The area was home to an important observatory built in the early 1900s that conducted astronomical work for many decades. Major bushfires in 2003 caused severe damage to the site and led to its redevelopment as a recreation area.
