El Kraken is a football stadium in Mazatlán whose rectangular grass pitch is ringed by dark green tiered seating divided by white metal railings, under a dark roof ring open to the sky above the field. A rectangular screen sits in the far stand, and the venue holds about 25,000 spectators, with 14,636 lower-tier seats, 9,204 upper-tier places and 1,160 in the box area.

Construction began in 2017 as part of a Sinaloa project to build and modernize sports venues, and the stadium opened on 27 July 2020 with a Mazatlán FC–Puebla match played behind closed doors. Monarcas Morelia had been relocated from Michoacán and renamed Mazatlán FC that June. In 2026 the franchise moved to Atlante, and Dorados de Sinaloa took over the ground.

The nickname El Kraken, announced by the club on 7 July 2020, was never officially recognized by the Mexican Football Federation, yet fans and media used it more than the official Estadio de Mazatlán. The opening on 23 July 2020 featured a concert by local banda group El Recodo, an official sponsor of Mazatlán F.C.

The nickname El Kraken was announced by Mazatlán F.C. on 7 July 2020, yet the Mexican Football Federation never recognised it officially, so competitions kept the name Estadio de Mazatlán. Fans and media adopted the sea-monster nickname anyway. In October 2023 a Sinaloa housing developer bought the naming rights and the ground became Estadio El Encanto.
