Los Altos Apartments

Los Altos Apartments is a five-story residential complex on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles built in the Mission Revival style. The structure features Italian-inspired architectural details and a prominent neon rooftop sign that remains visible from the street.

Built in 1925 by architects Edward B. Rust and Luther Mayo, the building was Los Angeles' first cooperative housing development. The project represented an innovative approach to residential living during a period of rapid urban growth.
