Torre Chiapas is a 22-storey, 104-metre-high-rise on the outskirts of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, at the junction of Libramiento Norte and Calzada Andrés Serra Rojas, built on 20 metres of foundations. Its glass panels are engraved with Maya hieroglyphs and verses by Chiapan poets Rosario Castellanos and Jaime Sabines, and entry is through a reinterpreted Maya arch. It holds government offices, a TV Azteca Chiapas studio and a helipad.

Construction began in March 2009 under the contractor GIA+A, with a budget of 1,142,729,735.86 Mexican pesos. The French Wikipedia states the tower was built from 2009 to 2010 and names Cesar Pelli as its architect. It was the first building in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and in Chiapas with more than 20 floors, and it forms part of the expansion of the Centro de Convenciones y Poliforum Chiapas.

The glass panels of Torre Chiapas are engraved with Maya hieroglyphs and with verses by the Chiapan poets Rosario Castellanos and Jaime Sabines. The building's design draws on the cultural and historical motifs of Chiapas, so the facade and interior carry references to the state's literature and pre-Hispanic writing.

The tower stands outside the city centre at the junction of Libramiento Norte and Calzada Andrés Serra Rojas, beside the Centro de Convenciones y Poliforum Chiapas. Entry is through a reinterpreted Maya arch. The French Wikipedia credits architect Cesar Pelli with the design, a claim the Spanish article does not mention.
