Molino de Flores Nezahualcóyotl National Park

The park spans 49 hectares of volcanic terrain at 2,400 meters above sea level, featuring eucalyptus forests, pine groves, and ornamental gardens.

The site originated as Hacienda Molino de Flores, where Miguel de Cervantes and his wife constructed the main buildings, including the Church of San Joaquin.

The property connects to the legacy of Nezahualcóyotl, a Nahuatl ruler and poet, through its gardens and architectural elements from pre-Hispanic times.

The management office provides informational brochures about the park, which maintains temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

The Chapel of Señor de la Presa integrates into the natural rock formation along the Cuxcahuaco River, following architectural principles similar to Malinalco temple.
