1555 Poydras, Office high-rise in Central Business District, New Orleans, United States.
The 1555 Poydras building rises 262 feet with reflective glass windows and sawtooth bay architectural elements across its 22 floors.
Constructed in 1984 during New Orleans' oil industry expansion, the building originally served as the headquarters for Exxon Corporation in the city.
The structure transformed Poydras Street from an underutilized area into a modern business corridor following the Superdome's construction in 1975.
The building contains 467,671 square feet of office space, with Tulane University School of Medicine occupying multiple floors including the 10th and 22nd levels.
During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the building provided office space to displaced businesses and later housed the Road Home recovery program offices.
