225 Baronne Street, Commercial skyscraper in Central Business District, New Orleans, United States.

225 Baronne Street is a 30-story skyscraper in downtown New Orleans that defines the city's skyline with its imposing height. Today the tower holds an Aloft Hotel with 188 rooms, 192 residential apartments, and parking for 356 vehicles in its lower floors.

The building opened in 1962 as the local headquarters for Boeing, serving the aircraft company's operations in the region. It held the title of New Orleans' tallest structure for five years until a taller building surpassed it.

The building takes its name from the street where it stands and reflects the city's evolution as a business hub. Its conversion to mixed-use space shows how downtown New Orleans now balances commerce with residential living.

The building sits in the downtown business district and is easy to reach on foot, with good views of the surroundings from above. Visiting during the day offers the best sightlines, while evening hours showcase the city lights in a different way.

The structure underwent a major renovation that shifted its purpose from office-only use to a mixed development with hotel and homes. This transformation shows how outdated office towers can become vibrant centers for both tourism and residential living.
