Revenge of the Mummy, Indoor roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida, Orlando, US

Revenge of the Mummy is an indoor roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, US, taking riders through dark tunnels and tight turns. The experience combines mechanical motion with projected images, pyrotechnics, and animated figures along the route.

Universal announced the ride in 2002 and closed Kongfrontation at Universal Studios Florida on September 8, 2002 to clear the site. Revenge of the Mummy opened there on May 21, 2004, followed by Universal Studios Hollywood on June 25, 2004. The six-story, 62,000-square-foot building reused slabs that were the largest of their kind at the time, and track pieces from Kongfrontation were built into it.

The entrance reproduces a Museum of Antiquities facade with four round columns, gold lettering and banners advertising "The Curses & Legends of the Pharaohs". Inside, the queue displays props, molds and concept drawings from a fictional sequel, and a pre-ride video shows Brendan Fraser refusing the medjai necklace before crew member Reggie is trapped in a sarcophagus.

Visitors must be at least 48 inches (122 cm) tall to ride, and the entrance area offers free lockers for personal items during the experience. Wait times vary greatly depending on time of day, so early morning or late evening can be more convenient.

During the ride, the seats move unexpectedly backward through certain sections of the track before switching forward again. These direction changes happen without warning and add to the disorientation in the dark passages.
