The structure, completed in 1990, replaced the former Heard National Bank Building, which held the title of tallest structure in Florida for twelve years.
The Bank of America Tower reflects the evolution of corporate architecture in Florida, representing the largest financial development outside the Miami metropolitan area.
The building features 19 elevators and provides approximately 698,000 square feet of office space at the intersection of Bay and Laura streets.
German-American architect Helmut Jahn designed this reinforced concrete tower, which ranks as the 25th tallest structure in Florida.
