Tech Tower, Romanesque Revival office building in Atlanta, Georgia

The seven-story Tech Tower features red brick walls with granite trim and stands as a prominent structure on the Georgia Tech campus.

Built in 1887 by architects Bruce & Morgan, Tech Tower served as the first academic building of the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The illuminated TECH signs adorning the tower represent a tradition established by the class of 1922 to spread school spirit.

Located at 225 North Avenue NW in Midtown Atlanta, Tech Tower houses administrative offices and welcomes visitors during regular business hours.

President Theodore Roosevelt delivered a speech promoting engineering education from the steps of Tech Tower on October 20, 1905.
