Raging Waters Sacramento, Water park in Sacramento, California.

Raging Waters Sacramento was a water park located at Cal Expo near Sacramento featuring various water slides, wave pools, and speed rides. The facility included designated areas for younger children and provided visitors with lockers, cabanas, and food options throughout the grounds.

The park opened in 1986 and became a primary summer recreation destination for the region for multiple decades. The facility ceased operations in 2022 after serving generations of visitors throughout its years of operation.

The water park served as a summer gathering place where families returned year after year to spend time together in the water. Generations of visitors created lasting memories while enjoying the same attractions and introducing children to cherished seasonal traditions.

Visitors should prepare for sunny and hot weather by bringing sunscreen and water for hydration. The location was easily accessible by public transportation and offered ample parking for vehicles.

The site is no longer operating as a water park after new operators developed plans for complete transformation into a year-round entertainment facility. While the original park no longer exists, its legacy remains alive in the memories of generations of Sacramento visitors.
