F5 Tower, Modern skyscraper in downtown Seattle, United States
F5 Tower is a 660-foot (200 m) skyscraper at 44 floors in Downtown Seattle, with angular glass curtain walls meant to suggest Audrey Hepburn's silhouette in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Its lower 13 floors hold a 189-room Lotte hotel, and the tower rises next to the preserved former First Methodist Episcopal Church, now Daniels Recital Hall.
Construction of the tower began in 2014 and was completed in May 2017, marking a new phase in Seattle's downtown development. The project represented a major shift toward integrating modern office and hospitality spaces within the historic core.
The tower stands beside the former First Methodist Episcopal Church; its education wing was demolished for the tower, but the rest of the church was kept and reworked into Daniels Recital Hall, also called The Sanctuary. Lotte Hotels & Resorts bought the rights to the hotel and The Sanctuary in December 2019 for $175 million.
The tower stands at Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street in Downtown Seattle, next to the preserved former First Methodist Episcopal Church, now Daniels Recital Hall. An internal staircase system was built to encourage walking over elevator use.
