The Riddler's Revenge, Stand-up steel roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, California.
The Riddler's Revenge is a steel roller coaster at the California amusement park Six Flags Magic Mountain where all riders remain standing throughout the entire journey. The track winds through six inversions and a vertical loop.
The park opened this roller coaster in the late nineties as the first of its type on the West Coast of the United States. It became the tallest and fastest stand-up coaster in the world at that time.
The waiting area displays question marks and purple tones that recall the well-known foe of Batman. Visitors see green and violet decorations throughout that pick up the riddle theme.
Three trains run simultaneously on the installation and reduce waiting times on busy days. Riders must leave their bags and loose items in lockers before boarding.
The ride generates forces more than four times as strong as normal gravity while riders remain upright throughout. The highest point of the vertical loop rises about 124 feet (38 meters) above the ground.
