Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, Single-rail roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, US
Wonder Woman Flight of Courage is a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California that carries riders along a narrow steel track for about one thousand meters through turns and inversions. The structure reaches nearly forty meters tall and sends the trains through the layout at about ninety kilometers per hour (roughly sixty miles per hour).
The ride was built starting in August 2021 and replaced two former attractions in the DC area of the park. It opened to visitors in July 2022.
The attraction takes its place in the DC Universe section of the park, replacing the former Green Lantern: First Flight and Tidal Wave attractions.
Riders must be at least about four feet (roughly 120 centimeters) tall to board and sit one behind the other in the twelve seats of each train. The ride runs four trains at once, so wait times stay reasonable on most days.
The train rolls on a single continuous steel beam instead of two separate rails, which gives riders a different sense of movement. This design makes it the longest of its type anywhere in the world.
