Vipère, Steel roller coaster in Valencia, California
Vipère is a steel roller coaster in Valencia, California, stretching 247 meters long and reaching 32 meters in height. The ride features multiple inversions and spiraling turns that carry riders through the track at high speed.
The ride debuted in 2011 as Green Lantern: First Flight at Six Flags Magic Mountain and was the first of its model type in North America. After closing in 2017, the attraction was relocated to Montreal and given its new name.
The design incorporated elements from DC Comics when it operated as Green Lantern, featuring specialized track configurations that allowed seats to rotate independently.
Each train consists of individual cars with two rows accommodating four riders per vehicle. Visitors must meet minimum height requirements to safely experience the ride.
What sets this roller coaster apart is its rotating seat system where passenger seats spin perpendicular to the track during the ride. This feature adds an extra dimension of rotation and movement to the overall experience.
