Full Throttle, Steel launched roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, United States
Full Throttle is a launched steel coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. The white track extends roughly 671 meters and carries riders through several inversions, including a vertical loop and a distinctive top hat section.
Premier Rides built this coaster in 2013 on the site of a former water ride. The construction introduced what was then the tallest vertical loop in the world to the park.
The ride takes its name from the throttle mechanism found in racing vehicles, fitting its motorsport-inspired theme. Guests can watch trains rush through the loops while waiting in the queue area or preparing for their own turn.
Riders must be at least 137 centimeters (54 inches) tall to board this coaster. The trains carry 18 passengers and complete the course in roughly one minute.
The track section with the top hat sits directly above the vertical loop, forming a stacked loop structure. This arrangement stands among the rarer solutions in worldwide coaster design.
