Golden Oak Ranch

Golden Oak Ranch is a Disney filming location in Canyon Country spanning 890 acres with varied landscapes and developed areas. The property includes six sound stages and production offices for professional film and television work.

Walt Disney Productions purchased the property in 1959, naming it after an early gold discovery in the region. The site grew into a major production center for the entertainment company.

The ranch contains buildings of different styles that serve as backdrops for television and film productions. These structures show how architecture becomes a storytelling tool for the entertainment industry.

The location features different terrain types serving various production needs, from natural landscapes to urban scenes. Keep in mind that this is an active film studio not designed for public tours.

A covered bridge over an artificial stream and specialized sets have appeared in numerous film and music video productions. These recognizable sets have been reused by dozens of productions, making them iconic parts of the location's history.
