Encore, Luxury casino hotel on Las Vegas Strip, Nevada, United States.
Encore is a 48-story hotel tower standing 192 meters (630 feet) tall on the Strip in Nevada. The building holds more than two thousand rooms along with a gaming floor offering dozens of tables and machines across several thousand square meters.
The complex opened in December 2008 as an addition to the neighboring Wynn and was built on the site of an earlier resort from the mid-20th century. Construction took several years and cost more than two billion dollars.
The theater inside presents a rotating program of well-known performers, continuing the city's tradition of live entertainment. A restaurant named after Sinatra displays photographs and personal items from the singer that guests can view while dining.
The hotel connects by a corridor directly to Wynn, allowing guests to move between the two buildings. Restaurants, shops, and entertainment options are spread across multiple floors throughout the building.
An exclusive gaming area on the upper floors offers views over the surrounding landscape and is open only to players at higher stakes. The windows run from floor to ceiling and allow daylight into the space.
