Las Vegas Club, Casino and hotel on Fremont Street, Las Vegas, United States.
The Las Vegas Club was a casino and hotel located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas with gaming tables, slot machines, and guest rooms. The property covered approximately 19,600 square feet and offered traditional gambling entertainment in an older gaming venue.
The casino was founded in 1930 and relocated across Fremont Street in 1949 to occupy the 1905 Overland Hotel building. The hotel business closed in 2013 and gaming operations ended in 2015 before the site underwent demolition.
The sports gallery inside displayed photographs and signed memorabilia from athletes, which reflected how locals connected gaming with sports culture. Visitors could see this blend of interests throughout the gaming floor.
The site is located in the middle of Fremont Street among other historic gaming venues and is easily accessible on foot. Since the property was completely redeveloped from 2020 onward, visitors today can see the new resort that replaced it.
The original building on this location dated from 1905 and originally served as the Overland Hotel before becoming a casino decades later. This transformation reveals how the old Fremont Street evolved and adapted to changing times.
