Dauling Dragon, Wooden roller coaster in Happy Valley Wuhan, China
Dauling Dragon is a wooden roller coaster with two parallel tracks at Happy Valley Wuhan. The trains reach speeds of about 54 miles per hour (87 kilometers per hour) along a course stretching over 1,100 meters with multiple turns and drops.
The coaster was designed by The Gravity Group from Ohio and opened in April 2012. It became the third wooden roller coaster built anywhere in China.
The entrance features two vintage steam locomotives from China's railway past. These machines sit alongside the modern coaster, blending industrial heritage with contemporary thrills.
Each train has six cars arranged in two rows of seats, allowing up to 24 riders to experience the course at the same time on both tracks. Both trains launch and run simultaneously, creating a racing effect throughout the ride.
The track features a special high-five section where trains bank 90 degrees toward each other. This moment allows passengers on opposing sides to interact and celebrate together during the ride.
