Happy Valley Wuhan, Theme park in Hongshan District, Wuhan, China.
Happy Valley Wuhan is an amusement park in the Hongshan district of Wuhan, divided into several themed areas including Happy Ocean, Dream Avenue, Desert Kingdom, and Speed World. Each zone has its own visual identity and a set of rides and attractions built around a central theme.
The park opened on April 29, 2012, as the fifth location in the Happy Valley chain, which had already established itself in other major Chinese cities. Its opening brought this well-known chain to central China for the first time.
The Desert Kingdom area draws on the Chinese cartoon Sheriff Biscuit, bringing a locally beloved animated character into the ride designs and decorations. Walking through this section, you can clearly see how the character's style shapes every corner of the zone.
Arriving early in the morning gives you a head start before crowds build up, especially at the most popular rides. Since most of the park is outdoors, comfortable shoes and sun protection will make your visit much more manageable.
The Dueling Dragon wooden coaster runs on two parallel tracks, with two trains departing at the same time and racing each other throughout the ride. This side-by-side racing setup means passengers on each track can watch the other train at close range the whole time.
