House-Museum of Uzeyir Hajibeyov

The House-Museum of Uzeyir Hajibeyov presents the life story of Azerbaijan's influential composer through personal belongings, photographs, and musical instruments displayed in four exhibition rooms.

The museum opened on November 20, 1975, in the residence where Uzeyir Hajibeyov lived from 1915 to 1942, preserving his legacy as the founder of Azerbaijani professional music.

The museum exhibits maintain the original interior elements, including Hajibeyov's desk with his watch, glasses, and the incomplete manuscript of his symphonic poem Azerbaijan.

Located near Nizami metro station on Shamil Azizbekov Street, the museum contains multiple exhibition spaces, a cinema hall, and administrative sections for visitors to explore.

The collection includes silver dishes, copper bowls, and a gramophone that belonged to the composer, along with the dining table where he hosted numerous cultural gatherings.
