Mohammad Ali Palace Museum

Mohammad Ali Palace Museum is a two-story residence in Bogura with eight rooms on the upper floor and sixteen on the ground floor. The interior rooms display furniture, clothing, and personal items that show how a wealthy family lived during this period.

This residence was home to influential nawabs and opened to the public as a museum in 1998. The Department of Archaeology officially protected the building in 2016, recognizing its importance as a historical site.

The museum displays mannequins dressed in traditional Bengali clothing alongside British fashion, showing how cultures mixed during the nawab period. These exhibitions reflect the daily life and choices of the palace's former residents.

The museum is located on Nawab Bari Road and welcomes daily visitors during daytime hours. It has several areas to explore both indoors and outdoors, with grounds featuring trees and different attractions for all ages.

The audience hall features a distinctive mosaic ceiling pattern that displays the craftsmanship and design sense of the era. The outdoor grounds also include historic trains and swings, revealing what the residents enjoyed in their leisure time.
