Konica Minolta Tower Centre, Observation tower in Fallsview district, Ontario, Canada
Konica Minolta Tower Centre is an observation tower in the Fallsview district that rises 99 meters from ground level. The structure towers 160 meters above Niagara Falls, providing views of both the Canadian and American waterfalls from high above.
The original structure was built in 1962 as Seagram Tower and represented an example of advanced construction techniques of that era. Since then, the building has changed ownership several times and been renamed multiple times.
The tower's restaurant on the 26th floor features an International House of Pancakes, replacing the former Marilyn Monroe-themed establishment that honored the film Niagara.
The observation deck on the 25th floor features floor-to-ceiling windows with non-glare coating that enhances photography. A restaurant located on an upper floor allows you to dine while enjoying the surrounding views.
The building has carried multiple names over the years, including Heritage Tower, Royal Inn Tower, and Panasonic Tower, before receiving its current name. Each name change reflected different ownership and uses of the structure.
