Complexe multisports de la Mundi, espace multisports et hôtelier près de Yaoundé au Cameroun
The Complexe multisports de la Mundi is a sports facility near Yaoundé with football pitches, a running track, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball fields, handball courts, and two swimming pools. The 12-hectare complex is enclosed by a 2-kilometer fence and also includes a three-star hotel with 56 rooms, a restaurant, and conference facilities.
Construction began in 2017 and finished in November 2020, funded by savings from Cameroon's public employees' association. The facility was certified by the Confederation of African Football and has served as a training site for the national team and other squads before major competitions.
The complex sits beside the main road between Yaoundé and the airport and is relatively easy to find, though the access road is currently unpaved. The site is fully fenced and offers secure conditions plus parking for visitors.
The facility served in 2022 as a training site for Cameroon's national football team, the Indomitable Lions, preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations. This experience hosting international teams established it as a venue for high-level African football.
