Huangguoshu Waterfall, Natural cascade in Huangguoshu, Guizhou Province, China
The waterfall stretches 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide, creating a massive curtain of water flowing down the limestone cliffs of the Liuzhi River.
The waterfall, historically known as White Water River Falls, received its current name from the yellow fruit trees that grew abundantly in the surrounding area.
The waterfall area hosts communities of Miao and Bouyei ethnic groups, who maintain their agricultural traditions and conduct ceremonies near the waters.
Visitors can access multiple observation platforms throughout the park, with spring and early summer offering the highest water volume for optimal viewing experiences.
A 134-meter-long Water Curtain Cave system behind the falls contains six windows and five halls, allowing visitors to walk behind the cascading waters.
