Yachi Railway Bridge

Yachi Railway Bridge is a steel arch structure spanning 436 meters across the Yachi River at a height of 272 meters from the riverbed. It carries high-speed trains between the Qianxi area and Qingzhen, maintaining 230 meters of clearance above the Suofengying Dam reservoir.

This structure was built as part of the Chengdu-Guiyang high-speed railway project and completed in 2018. The connection was essential for developing access through the mountainous terrain of Guizhou province.

The bridge demonstrates how modern engineering solves problems in difficult mountain terrain, bringing distant communities closer to larger cities. It represents the effort to connect remote areas with better transportation links.

The best viewing angles come from nearby road sections where you can see the bridge and valley below from different perspectives. Early morning hours usually offer better lighting and clearer skies.

The bridge was built using innovative construction methods developed specifically for mountain terrain. Today it ranks among the tallest and longest railway arch structures of its kind in the region.
