Asia Building

The Asia Building is a heritage-protected structure made of red brick with European architectural elements spanning multiple floors in Huangpu. The facade displays regular window rows, solid wall surfaces, and decorative details that show the building style typical of its time period.

The structure was built during Shanghai's French Concession era as a testament to the city's growth as an international trading hub. It represents architectural development from the early 20th century when Shanghai was establishing itself globally through commerce and settlement.

The building shows how architects of that era tried to blend Eastern and Western building styles together. Visitors can still see this mix today in the details of the facade and the way spaces are arranged inside.

The building is located in a central area with good public transportation access and sits easily within the business district. Visitors should expect the surroundings to be relatively busy during daytime, and interior viewing may be available on certain occasions.
