Causeway Bay

Causeway Bay is a commercial neighborhood stretching from Victoria Harbour to Leighton Road, packed with shopping centers, department stores, and restaurants. The area also contains Victoria Park, an open space that breaks up the urban density.

The neighborhood developed through land reclamation projects in the 1950s that expanded the coastal area and created space for Victoria Park. The statue of Queen Victoria was restored after World War II and placed in this newly developed landscape.

The neighborhood is served by the MTR Island Line, which connects it to other parts of Hong Kong, along with numerous bus routes. Traditional tram services also operate in the area, offering another way to get around.
