Hanjiang District, Yangzhou

Hanjiang District extends over 552 square kilometers along the Yangtze River and the Grand Canal, forming the western part of Yangzhou's central area.

The district underwent significant expansion in 2011 when the former Weiyang District merged into Hanjiang, creating a larger administrative zone in Yangzhou.

The district contains ten subdistricts and multiple townships that preserve traditional elements while accommodating modern commercial and residential developments.

The district maintains a functional transportation network through the Yangzhou Railway Station, connecting residents to major cities across Jiangsu Province.

Located at an elevation of 9 meters, Hanjiang District houses both the Hanjiang Industrial Park and Weiyang Economic Development Zone within its boundaries.
