Yuyuan Garden station serves Line 10 and Line 14 of the Shanghai Metro with four platforms and four tracks for passenger service.

The station began operations on April 10, 2010, initially serving Line 10, and expanded its service with Line 14 on December 30, 2021.

The station incorporates architectural elements featuring aluminum panels forming wave patterns that reference the nearby Huangpu River and local design traditions.

The facility includes seven numbered exits and complete wheelchair accessibility, connecting travelers to the Yu Garden and City God Temple areas.

The station features a three-dimensional LED canopy system that displays different light patterns according to seasonal events and celebrations.
