Luhuitou Park

Luhuitou Park sits on elevated terrain with viewing points overlooking Sanya Bay, surrounded by thick tropical plants and connected by walking paths. The grounds include rest areas throughout and are open daily from sunrise to sunset.

The park's name comes from an old legend about deer helping travelers find their way. Visitors can observe residents practicing Tai Chi and dancing together in the open spaces each morning.

The park opens daily and is easily reached by bus from central Sanya with direct connections available. Signs in multiple languages guide visitors, and rest facilities are positioned throughout for comfort.

A large deer sculpture stands at the park's highest point and is a popular photography spot. Many visitors come here specifically to capture sunset images over the South China Sea.
