Luhuitou Park spans across elevated terrain, offering observation points over Sanya Bay and containing dense tropical vegetation with walking paths throughout the grounds.

The name Luhuitou, meaning Deer Returning, originates from ancient local tales of deer guiding lost travelers through the forested areas of Sanya.

Local residents gather in designated areas of the park each morning to practice Tai Chi and participate in traditional group dancing activities.

The park maintains multilingual directional signs, rest facilities, and remains open daily from sunrise to sunset with direct bus connections from central Sanya.

A large deer sculpture stands at the park's highest point, marking the location where visitors photograph sunsets over the South China Sea.
