Chinese Wushu Museum, Martial arts museum in Wujiaochang, Yangpu District, China
The Chinese Wushu Museum spans 2000 square meters within the Shanghai Sports Institute, featuring exhibits of martial arts weapons, attire, and historical artifacts from different regions.
The museum completed its second expansion phase in November 2007, introducing specialized halls including the Styles and Weapons Hall, History Hall, and Multimedia Interaction Area.
The History Hall contains six distinct zones that document the origins, development, and maturation of Chinese martial arts through physical artifacts and detailed presentations.
Visitors can access the museum at 399 Changhai Lu via subway line 8 to Nengjiang Road station or buses 851, 90, 966, and 866.
The facility contains over 2000 artifacts, including regional weapons collections and electronic displays that allow visitors to interact with martial arts content through virtual books.
