The Pudong Mosque spans 1,650 square meters with a 40-meter minaret and four domes, incorporating traditional Arabic architectural elements into its design.
Established in 1935 through local donations, the mosque underwent reconstruction in 1995 with support from the Pudong District government to accommodate more worshippers.
The mosque functions as an educational hub for Islamic studies and maintains a dedicated section for female worshippers, accommodating 50 people during prayer times.
Located north of Yuanshen Stadium Station on Shanghai Metro, the mosque includes a shop selling religious materials and maintains regular prayer schedules.
The prayer halls can accommodate 850 people simultaneously, with 500 in the main hall and 350 in additional spaces during Friday prayers.
