Dingolfing-Landau, Administrative district in Lower Bavaria, Germany

The district encompasses fifteen municipalities across 878 square kilometers of land, featuring the Isar and Vils rivers flowing through its territory.

Established in 1972 through the merger of former districts Dingolfing and Landau, the region received its current name in 1973, replacing Untere Isar.

The district coat of arms displays Bavaria's blue and white pattern, along with the lion of Leonberg and the stripes of Frontenhausen county.

The capital city Dingolfing contains the largest BMW manufacturing facility globally, producing approximately 270,000 vehicles each year for international distribution.

Within its boundaries, Dingolfing-Landau maintains fifteen distinct municipalities at an average elevation of 372 meters above sea level.
