Ukko, Steel roller coaster in Linnanmäki, Finland
The Ukko roller coaster features a vertical chain lift that takes riders up to 46 meters before sending them through two inversions at speeds of 105 kilometers per hour.
Manufactured by German company Maurer Rides, the Ukko roller coaster opened its doors to visitors at Linnanmäki amusement park on May 27, 2011.
The roller coaster carries the name of Ukko, the Finnish god of thunder, representing the power and intensity of this high-speed attraction.
The ride accommodates twelve passengers per train in two cars, accepting riders between 140 and 200 centimeters tall, and completes one circuit in approximately one minute.
This SkyLoop XT 150 model generates forces up to 5G during its 150-meter track length, featuring a vertical lift hill followed by dramatic inversions.
