Dagály thermal baths

Dagály thermal baths is a leisure complex with ten pools at different temperatures, featuring both indoor and outdoor swimming areas spread across a spacious grounds. Beyond swimming, the facility offers saunas, massage services, and therapeutic treatment options.

The facility opened in 1948 following the discovery of an artesian well near the Danube, which became the source of thermal water from the start. This natural spring shaped the site's development as a public bathing place from its beginning.

The baths represent a long-standing Hungarian tradition where people come to relax, receive therapeutic care, or simply swim as part of daily wellness routines. This kind of public bathing space has always played a social role in the city's everyday life.

The complex operates throughout the day and welcomes visitors anytime, with multiple entry points across the grounds. Expect wet surfaces and wear comfortable footwear, especially when moving between different pool areas.

The facility features a wave pool that generates artificial waves for visitors, setting it apart from typical thermal baths. The water comes from two different sources combined together, including one from nearby Margitsziget island.
